Canada Day and Fourth of July Pig Roast

There may be a god after all.  It's still cold, but the sun's shining and the barometer's on the rise after falling from 1020 MB to 1011 MB and is now at 1014 MB.  And just in time too.  I was ready to kill someone after so many days of rain and didn't fancy my chances against David.

The neighbours, Chris and Greg, were in Shoal Bay for the holiday weekend and came over for the pig roast.  It was really nice to see them again – something we hadn't expected.  We were told they weren't going to spend much time at the house this year because they were busy with work but, apparently, they always make it up for Canada Day Weekend.  There were a few other familiar faces from last year, but it was fairly quiet compared to the Music Festival. But all and all, it was a good night with good food, good conversation and, most of all, good weather.
