It’s Way Back Wednesday, an opportunity to dig through the
files and pull out an old blog post to
shed some new light on it. For the last couple of months, I’ve been
highlighting anchorages from our Destination Series, but I thought I’d do
something a little different today. So, instead of one post that I picked, here
are your top ten favourites (based on the number of hits) from 2016:
Coming
in at number ten is Keeping Up Appearances, a recap of our month on the dock in
Ocean Falls this past summer.
What a Drag | The Realities of Cruising, the first-hand account of Cambria dragging anchor at night came in at number nine.
At
number eight, Dreams for Sale,
the blog post that finally lets the cat out of the bag: We’re putting Cambria up for sale and hope to buy a narrowboat to cruise
the canals of England, Scotland and Wales.
I is for Investing in the Future | Solar Panels, a blog post that was part of the
A to Z Challenge, came in at number seven and discusses the benefits of a solar
panel array on a boat.
Why
Sail to Southeast Alaska? Ten Reasons You Should Go is number five (the
title speaks for itself).
Keeping
to the same subject, number four is Sailing to Southeast Alaska | Ten Things to Know Before You Go.
Number
three is a more recent post and, again, part of our Destination Series: TheBest of Desolation Sound (spoiler alert: there’s a lot to like).
Number
two, once again, comes from our Destination Series and is one of British
Columbia’s most popular spots: Destination | Princess Louisa Inlet.
And
coming in at number one, my personal favourite and yours, A Walk on the WildSide | Downtown Ocean Falls, a pictorial walk through the popular ghost town.
Thanks to all of you who have read the blog over the last
year and made this list possible. We really do appreciate you stopping by.
