Poulsbo Puget Sound

Poulsbo, Washington

We arrived back in Washington on Monday after a long drive up I-5 from San Diego where we spent a few days visiting David's son – the past two months having been a blur of activity.  Everything's changed and neither one of us is excited about the upcoming sailing season, but hopefully that will change as well.  We can't say where we're going this year or how far we'll get; we're just going to take it one day at a time and see where we end up.

So here we are, back aboard Cambria, living a somewhat surreal existence.  Not much has changed in Poulsbo, yet everything is so different.  I'm finding it very difficult to be separated from my family – they were a great source of comfort to me . . . to us.  But the work there is done and we have so much to do here in the next few weeks.  The truth is, there was never going to be a good time to leave.  So, again, here we are.
