We didn’t like the sound of the forecast for later in the week, so we made the decision to travel south on Tuesday rather than risk missing Mike and Lisa in Pender Harbour because we were stuck in Desolation Sound. On the way, we received a phone call from Bill and Sylvia Emmens, our friends from Orcas Island, who had just left Princess Louisa Inlet so we made plans to meet in Ballet Bay at the mouth of Jervis Inlet. It was wonderful to see them again and to be able to spend some time together at anchor where Salubrious looks right at home.
