Rather than release Chris from hospital, they decided to bring him in for surgery Friday afternoon to replace the support hardware which was installed during the second surgery because it was too big for his body and likely caused the issue with his aeorta.  He was understandably nervous and concerned -- as were we all -- but made it through the procedure without incident.  The good news to all of this is that they didn't find any signs of infection while they were in there.
